企業の垣根を超えて、廃棄物ゼロを目指している山本洋平さん。自動車メーカーがプラスチック部品を作る際に出す「パージ材」と呼ばれる廃棄プラスチックのアップサイクルに取り組み、まるで大理石のような美しい外観を持つ家具に生まれ変わらせました。これからも、廃材からアップサイクルされた製品の新たな価値を多くの人に伝えて、アップサイクル製品を使って楽しんでもらえる社会にしていきたいと語る山本さんの思い描く未来とは？

Mr. Yohei Yamamoto is working to achieve zero waste, moving beyond traditional corporate boundaries. He has worked to upcycle waste plastic known as “Purging Compound”, which is produced by car manufacturers when making plastic parts. He has transformed this waste material into furniture with a beautiful marble-like appearance. Mr. Yamamoto says he wants to continue to show the new value of products made from recycled waste materials to people, and to create a society where people can use and enjoy upcycled products. What kind of future does he envision?
