Mr. Kenji Chiba is working to create new value in communities by renovating abandoned buildings and vacant properties, to revitalize entire towns. As a new initiative that places less of a burden on the environment, he has installed recycling bins at his company’s warehouse, hoping that many people will be able to freely put the waste and scrap wood that is generated during renovations to good use. Mr. Chiba says he wants to spread this initiative to the public as a standard in the construction industry. What kind of future does he envision?
